This thread is more about Plugdata, though, and less about standalone/Pure Data. Plugdata was primarily devised to unstandalone Pure Data.Sackbutt , don't even reply about the fact that these are not standalone plugins, you're obviously in the dark what pure data is .

It's also more about the end-user so, to some degree, it shouldn't matter whether the end-user is, as you write, 'in the dark what pure data is'. I mean, many people drive cars but are not automotive engineers, right?
If you want to leave your cluster of 'blocks' as they are, that's your prerogative and may benefit someone who might want to, as you suggest, 'get started'.
