Wavetable stuff hits differently and I think it is a flavour that some of us like. It isn't for every application. I have a Hydrasynth here and it gets sparing use but I like it when I like it if you know what I mean.
Sadly this Wave doesn't interest me. Played on a real one way back when, and quite hated its metallic character - I distinctly remember being overwhelmingly disappointed as it had been mythologised as being so desirable. Didn't like the sound of it or the look of it. Most wavetable thingies turn me completely off for some reason, I even avoid the wavetables on impOSCar3, and that's a cracker of a synth. However, it is cheap as plastic metallic chips, can't deny the value.
